The notion Citroen - with help from the creators behind Gran Turismo 5 - is actually wowing Paris Motor Show goers with its bold conceive, and characteristics upwards-opening ‘gullwing’ method doorways, 21-inch aluminium wheels – and an electric driven motor with ZERO emissions. This spectacular green-machine loads a huge 784bhp – significance a 0-62mph time of just 3.6 seconds and a peak pace of 204mph.

BMW has defied group collecting with the new X6 SUV-coupe– and now views set to beef up the baby 1 succession with this: the BMW X1. The X1 is BMW’s least important 4x4 and aspects a “visibly small centre of gravity” which BMW allegations is a “clear reference” to the car’s dynamic capabilities – implication it should handle superbly. If it does depart into goods produced the BMW X1 will vie against the likes of the concept Mini 4x4 – which is in addition made by BMW

This mean-machine is arguably the star of the 2008 Paris Motor Show: the four-door four-seat Lamborghini Estoque. The Estoque sports the familiar Lamborghini face – with added venom – and massive 23-inch wheels, and looks set to take on the upcoming Porsche Panamera and Aston Martin Rapide. Lamborghini hasn’t revealed the Estoque’s engine, but we’d expect the 530bhp 5-litre V10 from the Gallardo, or the 6.2-litre V12 engine from the Murcielago.

The Renault Megane Trophy is built to compete in the Renault saloon car championship and comes fitted with a 360bhp 3.5-litre V6 engine. The engine is planted in the middle of the car – for better weight distribution – and fixes to a six-speed gearbox with steering-wheel mounted shift paddles. Catch the stunning, wide-bodied Renault racer throughout 2009 across European circuits in the special one-make racing series.

This will be the fastest Aston Martin EVER – the One-77 looks set to be one of the world’s fastest and most exclusive supercars. The Aston Martin One-77 – seen under wraps at Paris – will feature a hand-finished 7-litre V12 engine producing 700bhp and a top speed in excess of 200mph. But the V12-engined, aluminium-bodied Aston will not come cheap – it will cost around £1 million when it hits the streets in 2009.
