Cristiano Ronaldo has proceeded his phenomenal vehicle expending spree by splashing out £150,000 – on a registration plate. The Manchester United winger has forked out the huge allowance on the registration plate ‘CR7’ denoting his initials and top number for United and Portugal.

Ronaldo’s newest buy afresh pursues in the footsteps of United’s preceding celebrity number 7 – David Beckham. When previous England captain Beckham was at Old Trafford he acquired himself an Aston Martin DB7 – and aptly chose the registration plate ‘DB7’
