The spectacular looking GTbyCitroen supercar has been photographed driving through the centre of London. First seen at last year’s Paris Motor Show, the GTbyCitroen has been built in partnership by the French car maker and Polyphony, the designers of Gran Turismo 5.
It was one of the showstoppers at the French show and it also held its own against the likes of the Rolls-Royce 200EX concept and Mansory Veyron at March’s Geneva Motor Show.
The GTbyCitroen was in London in anticipation of making its official UK driving debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed where it will be climbing the 1.16 mile hill climb.
There are no official power and performance figures for the GT, but it’s been rumoured in recent months that Citroen will build the supercar in very limited production figures – at a cost of £600,000.
It’s expected Citroen will make a decision on whether the GT will see production in the coming months. MAKE IT CITROEN.
Despite being a super-expensive Citroen we’ve no doubt it will sell. Just look at the thing. The whole design is mouth-watering.
And the face of the supercar gives an idea of the front of the new DS models which will be launched soon. Quite an exciting time at Citroen then.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed runs from July 3 – July 5. We’ll be reporting live from the event so don’t forget to come back for all the big news, events and photo galleries.
